FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: in basic diet of cow-mothers the preparation containing cobalt chloride (basic carbonate), copper sulfate (basic carbonate), zinc sulfate (basic carbonate), potassium iodide, sodium thiosulfate and permait are added in the following ratio of components, mg per a head: cobalt chloride (basic carbonate), 1.49-3.99 (0.74-1.99); copper sulfate (basic carbonate), 11.98-31.98 (5.05-13.50); zinc sulfate (basic carbonate), 52.61-140.38 (19.84-52.90); potassium iodide, 0.01-0.053; sodium thiosulfate, 0.03-0.088 and permait, 30.0 x 103 - 80.0 x 103 in a dose 4% to dry matter of basic diet 60 days before offsprings birth.
