FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves adding Permait and cryogenic pumpkin powder (Cucubita pepo L.) to animal food according to a scheme. Permait is given to cows beginning from 5-6 month of pregnancy at a dose of 250 g per animal daily during 60 days. Cryogenic pumpkin powder is given at a dose of 50 g per cow during 20 days. Swine are treated beginning from the first-second month after gestation with 150 g of Permait and 20 g of pumpkin powder per animal daily during 30 days. EFFECT: high survival percentage of newborn pigs. 2 tbl
