FIELD: shipbuilding; designing trimarans; technology of loading, unloading and transportation of loads. SUBSTANCE: proposed trimaran has center hull and side hulls. Center hull consists of main hull and cargo hull Cargo hull may be connected with main hull. Shipboard power plants are arranged in side hulls. Vessel is provided with steering gears arranged in side hulls; she is also provided with inter-hull extensible stops connecting the cargo hull with side hulls. Loading, transportation and unloading of cargoes will be effected by means of cargo vessel. Loading/unloading consists in coupling/unloading of cargo hull with main one. For transportation of cargoes, cargo hull is secured to main hull and side hulls of vessel by means of inter-hull fastenings. EFFECT: improved service properties of trimaran. 4 cl, 4 dwg
