FIELD: construction, in particular, structural units of expanded polystyrene with reinforcement, applicable for protection of bases at construction of railroads and motor roads and for other purposes. SUBSTANCE: construction expanded polystyrene plate comprises foamed expanded polystyrene, fibre that is chemically nonactive to granules of expanded polystyrene, and reinforcing fabric positioned inside the plate perpendicularly to applied load. The reinforcing fabric is made of composite fibrous material. The fibre length makes up at least the length of one diameter of foamed granule of expanded polystyrene.
