FIELD: fixes constructions.

SUBSTANCE: proposed snow protection device may be used for snow and ice control on transportation routes, more specifically for protection of roads and railways, as well as other objects against snow blockages, and aimed to solve the problem of cost reduction of the snow protection device and ensuring its efficient operation over a wide range of airflow angles. The snow protection device comprises support frame whereon several rows of rectangular protection elements are mounted being fixed on their fixed axes. The snow protection elements are flexible, connected with one of their edges to the axis by means of a flexible fastening element and capable of oscillating and rotating around the axes. The fixed axes having the form of pivots or cables are arranged vertically in the support frame, wherein the distance between them is at least as large as the length of a snow protection element. The snow protection elements are made of an industrial fabric or a polymer material. A strap is used as the flexible fastening element.

EFFECT: ensuring efficient operation of the snow protection device over a wide range of airflow angles.
