QUICK-READJAUSTED MEASURING HEAD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering, active test of dimensions of articles when frequent readjustment from one tested dimension to another is required. SUBSTANCE: measuring head includes case housing two bell-cranks, one arm of each carrying measurement tip. Other arms of bell-cranks interact with transformers of displacement. Two straps put on axles are hinged to bell-cranks. Sides of straps facing bell-cranks have grooves where rests are placed spring-loaded towards straps. Characteristic feature of head consists in making of inclined grooves in sides of bell-cranks facing straps where restoring plates are anchored with one end. Threaded holes accommodating adjustment screws are made in opposite sides of bell-cranks. Screws can interact with restoring plates. Unit fixing rotary bell-cranks includes eccentric roller installed in case. Restoring level pivoted against block and linked to case by means of screw is coupled to it. Design of head makes it possible to test position of " conditional zero " and to stabilize force pressing straps to increase measurement precision by this.
