FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment measuring contact forces between contacting surfaces of two bodies. Device measuring contact force between rectangular stamping plate and cylindrical supports has similar stamping plate mounted under supports. Cylindrical supports are arranged over periphery of planes of plates in the form of closed rectangular outline. Friction transmitter built in three-layer metal spacer is located between upper plate and cylindrical supports. Upper and lower layers of spacer are solid and are positioned over entire rectangular outline. Middle layer is made of two parts: U-shaped one that embraces three sides of rectangular outline and rectilinear part coming in the form of measuring rule. Measuring rule is mounted for longitudinal movement from upper plate when unloaded. Pulling force of friction transmitter with use of pulling aid is measure of friction force at rest. Contact force in zone of friction transmitter is found by mathematical dependence. EFFECT: enhanced precision, simplified design of device. 3 cl, 8 dwg
