FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has casing with handle and rods mounted on the casing. The rods have more than two parts movably connected in series to enable angles to be formed between them from 0 to 360 deg and free ends provided with fixing members as sockets for making attachments to the casing. Massage members are mountable on the rods. The massage members are manufactured as revolution bodies of various configuration from various materials like ebonite with active members of various shape attachable to them. Exciter unit for producing static electricity, manufactured from dielectric material like felt, is positioned under the massage members. It has flexible lining produced from a material like porous rubber. The lining envelopes the massage members and assumes their shape. When rolling over the patient body, the massage members make petrissage of the soft tissues. The tissues are treated by being compressed from massage strip borders towards its middle part and by stretching from the middle towards the borders and stimulated with static electricity and warmth produced by friction of active members against the felt. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; combined action of massage members made of different materials, static electricity and warmth. 8 dwg
