FIELD: mechanical engineering; disk brakes of transport facilities equipped with mechanical drives. SUBSTANCE: disk brake includes body of brake cylinder with ball pressure mechanism inside it; swivel pusher of this mechanism is connected with control lever and is engageable with adjusting screw by its end surface and clutch member made in form of helical spring with bent end; adjusting ring is connected with friction device and piston. Body of brake cylinder is provided with sleeve in which piston may move. Piston has longitudinal slot. Sleeve is rigidly secured by taper locking screw having cylindrical end projecting from sleeve and received by slot of piston , thus keeping it from turn. End face of sleeve has slots for holding the ring of friction device from turn by means of projecting members; inner surface of sleeve is used as support for spring of friction device. Bush fitted on helical spring of clutch member at minimum clearance has slot for receiving the radially bent end of spring.
