FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating tobacco leaves with aqueous solution of substance of formula: R1 - (CH2)m - NHn - R(3-n) - X, where R1 is eicosapentaenamin; m=2-4; n=1-3; R is alkyl; X is acid residue of inorganic acid; holding for at least two hours; drying and treating with heated nitrous oxide containing vapors of monobasic organic saturated acid. EFFECT: increased efficiency of postharvest treatment of tobacco leaves and prolonged storage life.
