SUBSTANCE: method involves treating tobacco leaves with aqueous solution of substance of formula: R1 - (CH2)m - NHn - R(3-n) - X, where R1 is arachidonamine; m is 2-4; n = 1-3; R is alkyl; X is acid residue of inorganic acid; holding for at least two hours; drying and treating with heated nitrous oxide containing vapors of monobasic organic saturated acid. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality and prolonged storage life of tobacco.
