FIELD: production of toys. SUBSTANCE: connecting members are made in construction block surface and arranged in alternating relation with slots. Connecting members have rigid projections with profiled side surfaces and flexible plates. Width of each slot between apexes of rigid projections and flexible plates exceeds width of these slots between rigid projection bases and flexible plates. Flexible plates are adapted for engagement with construction blocks so as to prevent them from displacement one relative to the other due to balance of stresses developed by deformed flexible plates, when pair of flexible plates are disposed in slot and buckle in accordance with form of side surface of rigid projections due to engagement with rigid projections upon joining of construction blocks. Construction set has construction blocks made in the form of rectangular and/or triangular and/or pyramidal prisms. Prism bases are made in the form of rectangles and triangles, respectively, with different length of sides, and/or in the form of regular rectangles and triangles. Shape of connecting members allows manufacture process to be optimized by employing multiple-cavity mold with two split surfaces.
