FIELD: electrodeposition, electrolytic machining of flat articles. SUBSTANCE: gear for electrolytic deposition of coats on flat articles has bath with electrolyte, anode units installed above bath in parallel one another with perforation facing article, pump with line to supply electrolyte to anode units and power supply source. Each anode unit is perforated in the form of rows with spacing between holes along horizontal line equal to spacing between rows of holes. Gear is also fitted with salt metering device and transducer placed in bath and all anode units have insoluble current-carrying elements separated by insulators installed at some angle with direction of movement of article. Holes are drilled in staggered arrangement with displacement of one relative to another along horizontal line in each next anode unit along direction of movement of article that is defined by expression t= n/m, where n is spacing between holes in one row in each current-carrying element of anode unit; m is number of anode units in gear. EFFECT: raised productivity of electrolytic deposition of coats and quality of articles thanks to exclusion of nonuniformity in thickness of deposited coat and possibility of machining under increased densities of current. 1 cl, 2 dwg
