PROCESS OF SUPPLY OF ALUMINUM ELECTROLYZER WITH SELF-BAKING ANODE WITH ALUMINA Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2175687 C2

FIELD: production of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: process of supply of aluminum electrolyzer with self-baking anode with alumina includes simultaneous supply of alumina and gas under pressure exceeding that of anode gases into vertical opening of anode. Alumina is fed differentially into clearance between two vertical pipes mounted uniaxially with formation of opening and into space of internal pipe. This approach makes it feasible to regulate supply of alumina into cryolite-alumina melt and to stabilize technological condition. EFFECT: stabilized technological condition. 1 dwg
