FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; fuel systems. SUBSTANCE: in preparing fuel-air mixture turbulent air flow is formed in through channel 14 of quality (air- fuel ratio) adjusting screw 13 after precleaning, thus providing change of air passing angle in through channel 14. Passage area of through channel 14 decreases in direction from inlet hole 15 to outlet hole 16. Inlet hole 15 communicates through channel 14 with atmospheric air supply line 18 whose inlet hole is connected with air cleaning element, for instance, air cleaner 11. Outlet stepped section of through channel 14 is tilted relative to adjacent stepped section through angle from 11° to 55°. Additional turbulent air flow is formed at outlet hole 16 whose particle oscillation frequency contains hinge harmonic components. This provides effective combustion of fuel and reduced content of CO and CH in exhaust gases. EFFECT: improved homogenization of fuel-air mixture and efficiency of CARBURETOR. 3 cl, 1 dwg
