FIELD: blasting engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrodes are brought to the opposite edges of the charge until they come in contact, pulse voltage is applied to them, and a sliding discharge is formed on the charge surface. The device realizing the method has an electric pulse source, means for transmission of electric pulse to two electrodes installed on one of the charge surfaces on the opposite ends. A return current lead is passed on the other surface of the charge. EFFECT: smooth detonation wave-front is formed without any disturbances. 3 cl, 1 dwg
