FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: antenna designed for use in comprehensive range of radio waves as receiving or transmitting antenna with specific directivity pattern in azimuth plane has active radiating component in the form of two similar rhomboid metal frames arranged symmetrically relative to feed point and flat metal reflector mounted in plane parallel to active radiating component at distance λ0 from the latter, where λ0 is mean wavelength of operating range; reflector has its center of symmetry offset along radiating component longitudinal axis so that projection of reflecting component center on reflector location plane is beyond reflector at distance λ0 from its edge. Antenna has narrow directivity pattern in direction of maximum radiation and high level of side radiation to the left or to the right of main lobe. EFFECT: improved efficiency of antenna. 4 dwg
