FIELD: electrical engineering; vehicles such as motor cars. SUBSTANCE: device has contact system or plug designed for connecting to electric cable and mounting facility meant to install plug on wiring surface of vehicle. For installation, contact system or plug is inserted into special hole in wiring surface and fixed in position by means of mounting part made in the form of shroud with inner thread which is turned onto external threaded portion of plug shroud so that lead-in device is rigidly fixed on wiring surface and its aperture occurs, in effect, in same plane as external side of wiring surface; aperture is closed by water-tight self-closing cover using well-known method. Inner space of contact section in plug receiving its pins is connected through drain slits in contact section wall and in wiring surface with drain slits in mounting shroud so that drain line runs from inner space of contact section outside the lead-in device, as required. According to invention, device is designed for connection to socket of external power supply to supply charging current to battery or to feed engine heater of driverТs cab during vehicle stop.
