FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices used during geophysical survey of wells, and for monitoring parameters in operating wells, and is intended for electrical and mechanical connection of geophysical cable with downhole instrument. Logging cable connection includes connected contacts made of current-conducting material and installed in insulators, to which wire of logging cable and borehole instrument are connected, upper contact is replaceable and installed on lowered logging cable, and lower contact is installed on downhole instrument, wherein both contacts are made from heteropolar magnets and are mutually attracted to each other, lower contact working surface is made spherical, and working surface of upper replaceable contact can be made depending on load value of flat, conical or spherical, which provides connection of working surfaces in point, along line or on surface.
EFFECT: invention improves reliability of electrical connection of geophysical cable with downhole equipment, as well as possibility of disconnection of logging cable with downhole instrument before its lifting on pipe string.
