FIELD: forensic medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has square base which inferior plane is provided with four limbs and the superior plane divided into two parts with a groove having one hole in the center and one hole on every peripheral zone for fixing a fastening upright having rectangular shape. Transparent polymethyl metacrylate plates of various thickness sizes are applied as material. The fastening upright has one longitudinal line on each of both planes dividing the planes into two halves, one hole in the center and in every peripheral zone to enable the upright to be fixable in the groove on the lower end face plane, and one hole to make attachment on the superior end face plane by means of a lock handle. The device also has movable removable circle having coordinate grid with nodes spaced every 10 mm in two axes of X and Y. Installation holes are positioned at the coordinate lines intersection points on the coordinate wall 16. Cruciform fastening hole has rounded slits of 20 mm in length and 5 mm in width to enable the movable removable circle to be shifted relative to the superior end face plane of the fastening upright and compensate 10 mm long coordinate grid spacing. The device has circular limb having four sectors, 90 deg each. One of the sectors has 1 deg discrete mesh and divisions every 10 deg with numeric marks 0, 30, 60 and 90, guiding axles and axle-handle placed in the center of the circular limb. The handle is used for moving and orienting the limb in installation holes of the coordinate grid of the movable removable circle (15). EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 13 dwg
