FIELD: mechanical engineering; centrifugal fans. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fan designed for transferring of hot gases and capable of operating for 1-2 hours at temperatures within 400 and 600 C. Heat from flow of hot gases is taken by working wheel and is transmitted through shaft to electric drive which might failure of bearings and electric drive as a whole. Impeller provides blowing of more cold air through heat transfer zone formed by ring which cuts off flow of heated medium from carrying disk and electric drive shaft with hub. Through key slots and mounting of heat shield provide reduction of shaft heating contact area and build additional cooling flow through slots and channel between heat shield and rear wall of housing. EFFECT: improved efficiency of heat protection of electric drive. 3 cl, 2 dwg
