FIELD: hot-air heating systems for residential and industrial buildings. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of burning fuel, heating air and distributing hot air in rooms. Fuel is burned in catalytic mass with inflow of primary air, surface combustion is realized with supply of secondary air; heat transfer agent is heated in heat exchanger. Heat transfer agent is moved by means of convection, ejection of suctional circulating and replenished air and exhaust of accumulated hot air. Apparatus for hot-air heating includes hot air generator with fire box and heat exchanger, pipeline system for distributing hot air. Hot air generator includes gas-liquid burner having base with supply pipes, ducts for feeding primary air, nozzle openings, refractory filler with electric igniter, louver for secondary air. Heat exchanger is sectionized, planar one and it has air clack-type valve. Pipeline system for distributing hot air has duct for circulating hot air with ejector and underceiling air intakes joined with said duct.
