FIELD: method for outfit of test cartridges of smoothbore weapon. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in filing of capsulated case with powder charge, installation of a wad in the case, pouring of small shots, fastening of cartridge members in the case. The mass of small shots is selected for optimum outfit of the cartridge. The mass of powder charge is selected to obtain the required pressure of powder gases in the second section of the ballistic barrel, and at installation of the wad in the case its stiffness is adjusted to obtain the required pressure of powder gases in the first section of the ballistic barrel. The wad stiffness is adjusted by varying the dimensions of the shock-absorbing link of the wad at unchangeable overall dimensions of the wad, or by varying the wad length. EFFECT: enhanced stability of pressure of powder gases and simplified method of cartridge outfit. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl
