FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hand-held seeder which may be used for seeding different crops and tubers, for instance potato tubers, has transparent hopper made in the form of truncated cone which is axially seated with its wide end on wheel. Hopper is provided with elliptical openings. Ring with similar openings is put onto hopper part for regulating seeding dose. Similar hoppers with ring are attached to both sides of each wheel to allow alternating seeding of two different crops into single furrow or application of fertilizer combined with seeding. Share with box-like attachment is adapted for regulating seeding depth. Stop springs fixed on single shaft are adapted for changing width of spacings. Multiple-row pattern may be changed by means of readily detachable attachment unit with brackets. Wheel has needle-type flange for fracturing of large ground lumps and preventing seeds from being covered with these lumps. Brackets are attached to edges of seeding openings for seeding large and smooth seeds, as well as tubers. EFFECT: simplified construction and wider operational capabilities. 8 cl, 1 dwg
