FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: sower has casing enclosing hopper-handle and cylindrical sowing disk with detachable inserts. Drive sprockets are rigidly attached at both sides of sowing disk pin, which is fixed for rotation in frame rigidly secured to sower casing. Ridge marking device has bottomless hoof-shaped body with rear wall bent upward. Roll and flexible plate serving as soil sweep are fixed to rear wall in bridle so that relative position thereof may be regulated. Bridle is equipped with seed embedding depth scale and fixed on rear wall so that its length may be changed. Side walls of ridge marking device are continued with track indicator having openings and interval scale. Tip with closed bottom is positioned in front of mentioned device. Tip is rigidly joined to side walls. Seed embedding depth scale is applied to tip front rib. Row spacing marker is rigidly attached to casing. Ground-engaging members are attached to sower casing walls and adapted for removal of ground from furrow walls. Sower of such construction may be used for sowing vegetable crop seeds in hothouses, as well as for sowing seeds over small plots in selection, sort testing processes and are preferably used in seed growing.
