FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing leeches in special kind of 12 cm long laboratory tubes of 5 cm diameter. Three leeches are placed on udder lobe skin injured with latent mastitis. After becoming satiated with blood (20-30 min), the leeches spontaneously leave the udder skin. The procedure is repeated three times with 24 h pause. After being left by leeches, the places of leech bite is disinfected and covered with bactericide plaster. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
