FIELD: measurement of flow rate of fluid media carrying impurities in the form of solid particles. SUBSTANCE: given pressure transducer comes in the form of tubular body built into cross-sections of pipe-line with holes to tap pressure. Section-diffuser, section of minimal section and section-contraction are located between inlet and outlet branch pipes of tubular body along flow of fluid medium. Cylindrical safety insert with round holes or longitudinal or lateral slots preventing choking of holes meant for pressure tap with particles of impurities is placed inside tubular body. Inner diameter of insert equals that of pipe- line. EFFECT: reliable measurement of flow rate of single-and polyphase fluid media in pipe-lines of medium and large diameter with enhanced abrasive or cavitation wear- out. 5 cl, 7 dwg
