FIELD: nuclear physics; experimental work using accelerators. SUBSTANCE: method involves irradiation of emulsion after it has passed particle separated by event selection system; for the purpose use is made of short radiation pulse with quantum energy sufficient to ensure that total energy absorbed by one grain of emulsion is higher than that required to obtain photographic latent image. EFFECT: provision for controlling emulsion sensitivity by raising it in the course of charged particle recording.
