FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is new fluorinated thermoplastic elastomer having block structure consisting of at least one segment of type A fluorinated polymer which has plastic properties and at least segment of type B fluorinated polymer which has plastic properties. At least one type A or type B segment comprises monomer units based on iodinated olefin of formula: CX₂=CX-R_f-CHR-I,(l) wherein X is H, F or CH₃: R is H or -CH₃; R_f is perfluoroalkylene radical, linear or branched, optionally containing one or more oxygen atoms of ether, or (per)fluoropolyoxyalylene radical.
