FIELD: organic synthesis and polymerization reactions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel fluorovinyl ethers having general formula CFX=CXOCF₂OR (I), where R represents linear or branched C₂-C₆- or cyclic C₅-C₆-(per)fluoroalkyl group, or linear or branched C₂-C₆-(per)fluoroxyalkyl group containing 1-3 oxygen atoms, provided that, when R represents indicated groups, it may contain 1 or 2 identical or different groups selected from H, Cl, Br, I; and X is F or H. Invention likewise relates to homopolymers obtained via polymerization of ethers of formula I and to copolymers obtained via copolymerization of ethers I with at least one polymerizable monomer. Invention further relates to synthesis of fluorovinyl ethers I including initial reaction of hypofluorite with fluorinated olefin R₁R₂C=CR₃R₄ to form intermediate hypofluorite F-CR₁R₂-CR₃R₄-OCF₂OF followed by interaction of the latter with second fluorinated olefin R₅R₆C=CR₇R₈ to form intermediate F-CR₁R₂-CR₃R₄-OCF₂O-CR₅R₆-CR₇R₈-F, which is subjected to dehalogenation or dehydrohalogenation resulting in formation of fluorovinyl ethers I. Invention also covers preparation of intermediate compounds of formula ): F - CR^A ₁R^A ₂ - CR^A ₃R^A ₄ - OCF₂O - CR^A ₅R^A ₆ - CR^A ₇R^A ₈ - F (VIII), wherein hypofluorite X₁X₂C(OF)₂ (X₁ and X₂ represent F) and two fluoroalkenes of formulas R^A ₁R^A ₂C=CR^A ₃R^A ₄ and R^A ₅R^A ₆C=CR^A ₇R^A ₈ are brought into two-step reaction, in above formulas R^A ₁-R^A ₈ representing F, H, Cl, Br, I,-CF₂OSO₂F, -SO₂F, -COF, or linear or branched C₁-C₅-(per)fluoroalkyl or -oxy(per)fluoroalkyl group.
