FIELD: fur working. SUBSTANCE: fur skin is treated with tanning solution containing chrome tanner supplemented by dimethylsulfoxide in amount 0.5-0.75% of the weight of fur skin. Such procedure can be used when manufacturing fur half-stock for fabrication of headgears, collars, woman's fur jackets, overcoats, and man's fur jackets. EFFECT: increased wear resistance of scalp due to greater strength of linkage between hair and skin tissue, increased microbiological resistance of fur against spontaneous microflora upon storage, and also increased heat and mechanical strength of skin tissue. 2 tbl, 4 ex
