FIELD: optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has two members, first of which is designed as assembly of n positive single lenses. Second member is designed as achromatic lens with single glue surface. Number of lenses in first member conforms to condition n = 2,5Al rounded to integer, where Al is numerical aperture value for microscope objective in object space. Solid iris is located at variable space from second member. Its total aperture diameter is equal to , where is back focal distance of microscope objective. Concavity of glue surface of second member may be directed either towards object space or to image space. Device provides possibility to numerical apertures within range of A = 0,1,A = 0,25,A = 0,40,A = 0,65, A = 1,25 mm for achieving optimal correction of aberrations of axial and off-axis beams. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 3 cl, 3 dwg
