FIELD: TV equipment. SUBSTANCE: device provides possibility to eliminate possible deadlocks in cases, when signal is received in side band partial suppression mode using comb filter which is active, and signal mode changes suddenly. Goal of invention is achieved by prohibition of two bytes out of three mode information bytes, when two bytes are undefined for all modes except mode 8 of side band partial suppression. These bytes are replaced by zero data. Another claim of invention discloses device design in which 12 character delay is by-passed using additional data for third byte. When ground operation mode of side band partial suppression is confirmed, prohibition of first and second bytes and inversion of by- passed third byte is removed in interlaced fields in order to allow normal operations of comb filter.
