SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a digital broadcast transmitter, having a random number generator for randomising an input data stream, having zero bytes inserted in a given position, a multiplexer for outputting a data stream generated by inserting certain known data into the position of zero bytes of the randomised data stream, an encoder for encoding the data stream from the output of the multiplexer and a modulator/radio-frequency converter for modulating encoded data, radio-frequency conversion of the modulated data and transmitting the converted radio-frequency data. Reception characteristics are improved even in a multibeam channel by extracting known data from the obtained signal using known data for synchronisation and level equalisation in digital broadcasting.
EFFECT: improving the data corrector for channel estimation using few data and correcting the obtained signal by eliminating the multibeam signal.
