SUBSTANCE: described are new benzotriazole derivatives of general formula I: wherein X¹ is hydrogen, halogen, nitro or alkyl halide having 1-6 carbon atoms and 1-3 halogen atoms; X² is hydrogen halogen, alkyl having 1-8 carbon atoms, alkoxy halide or alkyl halide having 1-6 carbon atoms and 1-3 halogen atoms; X² is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl having 1-8 carbon atoms, alkyl halide having 1-6 carbon atoms and 1-3 halogen atoms or radical of formula O-R³ wherein R³ is six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic radical substituted by alkyl halide having 1-6 carbon atoms and 1-3 halogen atoms; X² and X³ together denote alkylene ring unsubstituted or substituted by alkyl having 1-8 carbon atoms with 3-4 units or alkylene ring with 3-4 units in which ring two nonadjacent carbon atoms are replaced by oxygen atoms substituted by 1-4 halogen atoms, or X² and X³ together are residue of formula II: wherein X⁴ is hydrogen or halogen; R is isoxazolyl, mono-or disubstituted by amino, alkyl having 1-8 carbon atoms or alkoxycarbonyl having 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl moiety; or thiozolyl substituted by alkyl having 1-8 carbon atoms; or salts thereof formed by addition of acids. Compounds show fungicidal activity which is higher as compared with that in analogues. Described are fungicidal agent based on said compounds and method of controlling undesirable fungi when protecting plants and materials.
