FIELD: optoelectronic instrument engineering, applicable in bank equipment and criminal law. SUBSTANCE: the comparator has a body accommodating a fluorescent screen with an illuminant, vari-focal lens, objective lenses and a TV-camera, set of narrow cut filters, illuminants of ultra-violet, visible and infra-red radiations, illuminant of strong, visible radiations with a set of light filters, control unit and an information storage and display unit. The plane of the objects of the vari-focal lens is matched with the screen surface, the focal plane of the objective lens is matched with the plane of images of the vari-focal lens, the focal plane of the objective lens is matched with with the plane of the TV-camera photodetector, and the light filters are installed for fixing of any light filter in the optical axis between the objective lenses.
