FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for generator-load protection circuits, which are supplied by insulated-neutral three-phase mains, in particular, for mobile electric power production plants. Device has insulation resistance monitoring detector, actuating member, actuating mechanism, power supply and indication unit. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced detector state monitoring unit, signal comparison circuit, which has generator, which outputs short pulses, direct circuit for comparison of signals of generator and insulation resistance monitoring detector. When complete pulse signal transmission circuit fails, or insulation resistance is decreased, device switches electric equipment off mains and indicates fault. EFFECT: increased reliability due to monitoring and protection of electric equipment, when insulation resistance decreases below tolerance limit. 2 dwg
