POWERED MOLDBOARD PLOW Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2159025 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: plow has body with short moldboard and rotating rotor positioned behind moldboard and equipped with knives. Knives are curved so as to conform with shape of moldboard section adjacent to end of share. One end of rotor shaft is fixed on frame of plow body. Other end of rotor shaft is provided with shoe rigidly attached to landside and to moldboard front edge. Rotor is fixed in two roller bearings on frame, on shoe and is offset to the right in the course of advancement of plow. EFFECT: improved quality of soil tillage, increased efficiency, reduced power consumption and energy content of tillage process. 4 dwg
