FIELD: microcapsulation technology. SUBSTANCE: microcapsules prepared by interface polymerization contain 0.1 to 55% of solid agrochemical agent suspended in water-immiscible organic liquid and 0.01 to 10% of nonionic dispersant exhibiting interface activity and no emulsification effect. Agrochemical agent and organic liquid may be represented by herbicide. Polymer wall of microcapsule is composed of a polymer based on mixture of isocyanates and esterified urea-formaldehyde prepolymer. Preparation of microcapsules consists in preparing suspension of agrochemical agent in organic liquid containing aforesaid dispersant and prepolymers followed by introducing suspension into aqueous phase containing protecting colloid and surfactant and stirring resulting mixture at high shear value, while controlling, if necessary, temperature and/or pH of emulsion, until microcapsules are formed.
