FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for improving cross-country capacity of automobiles moving along rough terrain. Proposed device has drive and free detachable supports connected with automobile members. Drive support has bogie with road wheels and flexible belt hinge-mounted on automobile driving axle. Belt is passed over road wheels and driving wheel. Drum or sprocket can be used instead of bogie with road wheels and flexible belt. Free support has ski with support for free-running wheel and locking members. Front road wheel can be hinge-coupled with levers. One of levers can be hinge-connected with automobile body or frame. Other lever cab be hinge-connected with bogie. It is expedient to furnish the bogie with additional road wheels rigidly coupled with above-mentioned corresponding front and rear road wheels. The latter can be made elongated, with one or two additional belts, if necessary. Additional belts can be arranged, respectively, at one or both sides of bogie to embrace additional road wheels or elongated parts of road wheels. EFFECT: improved-cross-country capacity, enlarged operating capabilities of automobile. 16 cl, 11 dwg
