SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Snow mobile incorporates standard automotive systems of commercially available car: body assembly, ICE assembled with mechanical gearbox, engine fuel, supply, lubrication and cooling systems, exhaust system, clutch system, mechanical gearbox with gear selection and switching mechanism, braking system with drives and braking mechanisms for front and rear wheels, front and rear wheel hubs, engine electrical equipment and illumination system. Car front and rear wheels, their suspensions, front wheel drives and steering mechanism are dismantled to be replaced by caterpillar propulsor with drive sprockets, guide rollers with caterpillar chain tensioners and road wheels on extra structural elements secured to the body. Shock absorber struts are replaced by fixed rigid posts and braces. Caterpillar drive sprockets are fitted on front wheel hubs in body front side panel recesses while guide wheels with caterpillar chain tensioners are fitted on rear wheel hubs in body rear side panel recesses. Car body proper makes primary structural system to support caterpillar propulsor. Car body bottom is reinforced by extra girders arranged, together with caterpillar propulsor, under body bottom. Caterpillar chain road wheels torsions are attached to said girders. Two additional compact hydraulically driven direct-drive systems controlled by driver from cabin are arranged between drive sprockets and gearbox openings.
