FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: multilayer fabric has at least two systems of core threads and filling threads, and is made by serge weaving method. Connection of adjacent base systems is performed by weaving each two opposite threads with common filling thread for each pair of core threads. Each thread of these systems is sequentially involved into the process of connection of adjacent base systems. Core and filling thread density ratio in fabric is (1.1-1.3) : 1. EFFECT: improved physico-mechanical properties of multilayer fabric. 3 cl, 2 dwg
