MESHED FABRIC FOR POLYMER COVERING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2233919 C2

FIELD: textile industry, in particular, meshed fabric which may be used as reinforcing pulling carcass for technical articles with elastomer covering.

SUBSTANCE: meshed fabric for polymer covering has synthetic warp and weft threads and is made by ribbed weave with warp coverings fixed by 2/1 serge weave. Warp repeat pattern has even number of threads, at least 6, with interval 4, said threads forming two semi-repeated patterns, namely, face and reverse side semi-repeated patterns having equal odd number of threads, at least 3. Warp face threads are interlaced with weft threads within each semi-repeated pattern in accordance with following mathematical dependence: 0.5Rwe/1+2/1*(0.5Rwe-1)/3, where Rwe is weft weave repeated pattern. Respective warp threads of face and reverse side semi-repeated patterns are interlaced in opposite phase with respect to one another to form reverse "mirror" axis of symmetry in weft with respect to longitudinal axis. Each semi-repeated warp pattern has two groups of alternating similarly interlacing warp threads offset from one another along warp by number of threads equal to half the warp repeated pattern, with number of similarly interlacing warp threads in each group of semi-repeated pattern being, respectively, equal to: (0.25Rwa +0.5) and (0.25Rwa-0.5), where Rwa is warp weave repeated pattern. Each weft repeated pattern has 2 full plain weave repeated patterns along warp threads, (0.5 Rwe-1) similar semi-repeated patterns of weft repp 0.5Rwe/0.5Rwe and (0.5Rwe-3) of plain weave semi-repeated patterns arranged in spaces between semi-repeated repp patterns. Linear density ratio of warp and weft threads is 1.8-4.1.

EFFECT: increased strength of fabric.
