FIELD: manufacture of paper by the aerodynamic method, in particular, manufacture of sanitary-hygienic paper. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in preparation of aerosuspension of cellulose fibers, formation of a layer of fibers on a formatting net, moistening of the formed layer of fibers, its pressing and drying; moistening is carried out simultaneously with pressing by placing the layer of fibers between the shaping and moistening cloths. The shaping cloth has a relied surface, the distance between the projecting relief elements does not exceed the average length of fibers. A net with smoothed knots of thread weaves is used as the shaping cloth, and a fine-meshed net is used as the moistening cloth. Selective moistening of fibers only in the packed sections prevents moistening of the whole layer, and drying of paper cloth needs considerably lesser time and power expenditures. Shrinkage of paper cloth is also avoided, since the non-pressed sections of the fibrous layer practically do not get moistened. To prevent longitudinal twisting of fibers, the area of contact of fibers in the region of pressing is considerably reduced; aerosuspension is prepared with a moisture content providing for moisture saturation of the fiber walls.
