FIELD: production of paper for offset, gravure and letter-quality printing and cardboard. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing moisture-saturated aerosuspension; forming layer on gauze table; pressing and drying; treating produced layer with water to increase its moisture content by 2-18%. Moisture-saturated aerosuspension is prepared at air temperature of 15-75 C. Layer is formed at rate of 200-2,800 m/min and aerosuspension moisture content of 20-35 % by weight.
