FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: technique for isolation of highly penetrable intervals of seam in well includes successive pumping of insulation materials into face zone of seam, one of them being visco-elastic compound, the other one being aqueous solution of flocculant with addition of clay powder. Technique provides for washing of hydrocarbon deposits away from surface of face zone of seam before insulation materials are pumped. It does not matter whether visco-elastic compound is pumped into face zone after pumping of aqueous solution of flocculant with addition of clay powder or aqueous solution of flocculant with addition of clay powder is pumped into face zone after pumping of visco-elastic compound. Water-soluble polymer of acryl series is used in the capacity of flocculant in aqueous solution. EFFECT: increased stability of created isolation barriers. 3 cl
