FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure quantities of liquid phase ( oil and water ) and gas in flow. Flowmeter has first path for flow of fluid medium incorporating multiphase flow metering unit and flow limiter employed to decelerate flow of medium that includes mixture of gas and liquid placed in series. Second path incorporating second flow metering unit to measure flow rate of gas is connected in parallel to first path. When computer detects presence of liquid in flowmeter it activates valve in second path to shut it off for flow of fluid medium. According to another version flow coming into flowmeter is passed through nozzle of jet-type pump to prevent liquid from getting into second path. Invention provides for high measurement precision within wide range of concentrations that include large share of gas and vapor running into 95%. EFFECT: high measurement precision. 25 cl, 7 dwg
