FIELD: digital processing of voice signals. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for noise protection for multiple-channel digital telephone equipment. Device has first, second, third and fourth memory units, address commutator, unit of generators, detector of digital errors, first and second shift registers, first, second and third XOR gates, code subtraction unit, first and second flip-flops, accumulation adder, code comparator, AND gate, and pulse counter. Correction of anomalous digital errors upon transmission of voice signal using pulse-code modulation decreases requirements to noise protection of communication lines while subjective voice quality is kept constant. Models of proposed algorithm using computer shows that probability of digital errors is improved in average by 2-3 orders of magnitude for female and male voices respectively. EFFECT: improved quality of reception of digital signals using communication lines with low noise protection. 1 dwg
