FIELD: information transmission equipment. SUBSTANCE: carrier signal, which is modulated with data, serves as clock signal. Data position is detected due to commutation position in carrier signal within time frame. Information content of commutation position corresponds information content of N bits, while N is at least two. Value of N bits is defined by commutation position within 2N possible positions within time frame. In the beginning or end of time frame, method involves zero time interval, within which no commutation position appears, which corresponds to data transmission. This prevents prohibitively long absence of carrier signal. EFFECT: increased amplitude difference in side bands and amplitude of carrier signal without prohibitively long locking of carrier signal, which is simultaneously clock signal. 2 cl, 11 dwg
