FIELD: convertible footwear; applicable as protective or household footwear, particularly, in hospitals, museums, trains, etc. SUBSTANCE: footwear has sole conforming to foot shape and is full- cut, and provided with side parts joined in region of foot arch and bent upward to be pressed down to foot. Side parts trapezoidal in shape with rounded top have through cutouts, for instance, triangular in shape. One side of cutout is combined with line of bending of side part. Upper part of one side part has shaped cutout forming arch-through flap in form of mushroom on leg, and upper part of other side part has, at least, one mating the flap and forms, together with it, member for strapping footwear to foot. Footwear is made simultaneously for right and left feet, for instance, by cutting out from flexible sheet material, particularly, thermoplastic, easily sterilized. Sole surface and side parts are made antiskid. EFFECT: extended assortment of convertible footwear, convenient in use and storage, provided higher flexibility of side part and ventilation of foot due to through cutouts on side parts. 10 cl, 2 dwg
